At Amelie Design, every piece is carefully crafted with love in our UK workshop. We believe beautiful things are worth waiting for — every Amelie piece is thoughtfully made with care in our UK workshop. As many of our products are made to order, delivery times may vary depending on the product, finish, and level of customisation. We always aim to keep you updated throughout your order journey.


Lead Times


At Amelie Design, many of our products are handcrafted and made to order in our UK
workshop.
As a guide, our estimated lead times are:

• Planters: approximately 2 weeks

• Furniture products: approximately 4 weeks

• Bespoke or customised items: lead times will be confirmed at the point of order


Please note these are estimated lead times and may vary during busy periods, seasonal
demand, powder coating requirements, or product complexity.
If your order is required for a specific date or event, please contact us before ordering and we
will always do our best to help where possible.


UK Delivery


We currently deliver throughout the UK.
Depending on the size and nature of your order, delivery may be completed via:
• Specialist courier
• Pallet delivery service
• Dedicated transport
• Local delivery direct from our workshop where available
Larger furniture pieces, statement planters and bespoke items may require specialist handling
to ensure they arrive safely.


Delivery Charges


Delivery costs are calculated based on:
• Product size and weight
• Delivery location
• Order value
• Specialist transport requirements


Shipping costs will be clearly confirmed at checkout or during quotation.
Delivery Access & Responsibility
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery of larger items.


It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
• Access routes are suitable
• Someone is available to receive the order where required
• Any access restrictions, stairs, narrow pathways, or site limitations are highlighted
before dispatch

Failed delivery attempts or re-delivery charges caused by restricted access or missed deliveries may incur additional charges.


Delivery Times & Delays


Whilst we always aim to deliver within estimated timescales, delays can occasionally occur
due to:
• Courier or transport delays
• Weather conditions
• Manufacturing lead times
• Powder coating processes
• Circumstances outside of our control


We will always do our best to communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.


Checking Your Order


Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.
If there are any signs of damage, shortages or issues, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt and include photographs where possible.
This helps us resolve any issues quickly with our transport partners.
Please do not dispose of packaging until any damage claim has been reviewed.


Bespoke & Made-to-Order Deliveries


Bespoke and made-to-order items are manufactured specifically for you.

Once production has started, delivery dates are estimated and may vary slightly depending on manufacturing schedules and specialist finishing processes.
